Abstract
Recent excavations on Coastal Syria offer new evaluations on Iron Age sacred architecture in
Coastal Levant, related to Inner Syrian and progressively to Phoenician tradition, reflecting the
regional cultural changes strictly connected to the IA II-III political and economic developments.
