Save Palmyra. La distruzione del patrimonio archeologico nel Vicino Oriente. Perché e come ricostruire

Abstract

The Museum of the Near East, Egypt and Mediterranean launched the “Save Palmyra” project
for the awareness and knowledge of the damage that occurred in Syrian and Iraqi sites, in the last
years. One of the aims of the project was to highlight the importance of 3D technologies applied to
archaeology.
